I'm back!!! Vacation at the cabin was so much fun we went running, hiking, walked in the creek, puzzles, hours of card games, and a few games or croquet. That was also followed with snacking, snacking, tons of booze, and more snacking. I tried my best and what really got me was the empty alcohol calories. We took about 15bottles of wine and other mixers for cocktails and came back with about 5 bottles of wine and only two mixers left. (There was six of us) all in all it was a blast and I still have 4days left after today in vacation that are getting me back on plan. I'm glad I have semi enough discipline to tell myself well vacation at the cabin is over get back on plan. This morning I had a sausage with veggie omelet and an iced coffee for 9pts+ I'm planning on making ww chicken salad for lunch and hopefully heading to the gym tonight! I have so many blogs to catch up on but its nice to be back!

Is there ever a too much?
Is there a such thing as going to the gym too much? My hubby and I workout at the same gym but I feel that he puts going there over me all the time. I admire his dedication but at the same time if I ever want to go out on dates or anything and he has plans to go to the gym I get put on the back burner and that it is more important. Does anyone else have this issue? For example tonight I wanted to go out for dinner and he says no because he has gym plans but this happens all the time. I told him that I feel like he always goes and he said I need to understand that he has plans. He works out with a buddy there so it makes sense but I don't feel like going sometimes and just want to hang out together. I guess its better that he says no so we don't eat out but I dont feel that its fair he is there 5 out 7 days mot weeks and its not like we can workout together... does that seem whiney? I guess I'll be going to the gym tonight after work : ( being lazy stinks lol

Well another week another day to get on the scale. I stuck to around 29pts every day except for Sunday and tried not to use really any weeklies and I think this helped a lot since I didn't work out too much. Now this week I'm going to put those two together and see where it gets me. I really want to beat my hubby!

I don't have to much to write about I have been to the gym the last two nights and its nice to be back into my routine even though I have stuck to my points the whole time but I have been liking a few foods lately that I thought I would share.

random
So I got enrolled in my new school Monday and my part time shifts are a go! I start vacation a week from this Thursday and don't come back to work until August 4th so I will be gone two whole weeks and I cannot wait. Then hubby and I will be driving up to California for 3 nights to go stay with his dad at his beach house then school starts the following week. I will be going in the am till around 11 then heading to work. It's gunna be a lot of work but worth it to get into the carrer I like hopefully. I'm planning on sticking onto my weight loss program so that I stay on track to hit goal by October! I'm really looking forward to the new changes ahead and starting on a new journey!
I have been pretty lazy this week I only worked out on Monday but my eating has been good. I'm hoping to see a loss still this Sunday but only time will tell. I need to get my workout mojo back and beat my hubby in this competition lol

Plank challenge week 3
How is everyone doing with thier planks? Is your core getting stronger? How long did you hold it for this week?? I have gotten up to 1 min but nothing longer. My side planks on the other hand are a lot longer I don't really know what the difference is but they are difficult but not as much. let me know how its going and post the button in your post lets see if we can get more people to join in!!

Weekend summary and weigh in!
Well Today was weigh in day I really tried hard last week after my monday screw up

This weeks weigh in: 164.8
Loss of 1lb
I am finally past this 165 point I'm aiming for at least 163 next week!! It's funny how when you stick to plan and work out you actually get results and I'm ready to face another week!
I tried something new last night. I saw this on hg website and thought it was sort of ridiculous but decided to try it anyway when I saw it at the store.
It tastes just like an appletini its crazy and obviously without all the actual calories/points. It was so delicious! We had some friends over that were drinking and I had this instead in a martini glass and it was just fine.
Tomorrow I am going to meet with a counselor on becoming a court reporter so I'm really looking forward to it then my fave zumba class later in the evening.
Then to top off the weekend we went to the humane society and came home with this beauty
she is so adorable and playful and only 15weeks old. She gets along with our doggies and so far has been great! She is the first cat we have ever owned so any tips are appreciated!!!

I'm always up for a good challenge and thats exactly what I was approached with this morning. You may be surprised by who...
MY HUSBAND
lol we have been on our fitness journey pretty much the same amount of time and we both have kind of slacked a bit these past couple of months but he approached me this morning with a challenge. We are going on vacation up to a cabin end of July and he wants to gain a bit by then so he set a goal for himself of 175 and I said I want to be at 163 by then. So I have to lose about 3lbs in 2 1/2weeks sounds easy but I have been stuck here for forever and he has to gain about 5lbs in 2 1/2 weeks. He can put on weight pretty easily if he tries and I feel losing 3lbs in 2weeks will be fairly easy if I apply myself. We also set some rewards for us if we do it.
1. If we both hit our goal we will buy an ipad
2. If I hit it and he doesn't I get to spend $100 on whatever I want from his personal account
3. If he hits it and I don't he gets to buy a remote start for his car
4. If we both don't hit it then we can't watch any of our shows on dvr/netflix instant watch for a month. That may not sound like a big deal but its what we do everyday and during our lunches at work.
He also said that for every lb I lose below 163 he would put in another $50 lol and if I went below 160 it would be $100 lol I don't know if he is saying that cuz he doesn't think I will do it or if he is trying to help me get to where I want to be and he knows that will motivate me but I'm gunna try my hardest cuz I really want to get a black bag lol and I like to beat him at anything we do. I think it will be fun to challenge each other

I over did it
yesterday was too much. I drank way to much and I'm hurting today. I'm exhausted and have felt hung over all day. I was supposed to have bootcamp today and that definelty did not happen. I could barley get out of bed for work. I'm so tired but I'm back in it tomorrow. I stuck with points today but I'm sure I used all my weeklies yesterday so I'll be on plan for the rest of the week.
There is a pretty big storm coming here in the valley of the sun I'm gunna go cuddle with my hubs and listen to it!

New weigh in day
If you read you will know I changed my weigh in to Sunday
Last Wednesday weigh in: 167.8lbs
This weeks weight: 165.8lbs
Loss of 2lbs
So I got on the scale after busting my butt and it read 165.8lbs so thats down 2lbs from Wednesday. I think then I was retaining water since my month visitor should be here any day but everything seems back to normal and I was so happy to see that number on the scale after the hard work I put in. Technically it isn't a loss since I have been here before I seem to keep gaining/losing the same 3lbs, but I can't wait to see what happens next week!! I so so so want to be out of this 160 era its been 2+ months already and I'm over it. I'm so excited to hopefully post dare I say it 164 point anything or so next week. No Jinxing I hope
I'm about to head out and go to my parents house for a day filled with swimming and food but healthy food of course!!! My mom has a food scale and everything so it makes everything so much easier for me. I hated when I was the only one that was into healthy eating because all I would get was funny looks or ?'s of non understanding but now someone sees it from my side!
We went to the gym last night after work I really wanted to try to workout everyday but it seems all I will get in today will be swimming and it wont be any kind of vigorous swimming. I put this outfit on yesterday and my hubby seemed to really like it. It may be one of the first times I got a genuine wow you look good compliments from him since I have been on this journey.

changing it up... will I ever get it right?
So I decided to make my final weigh in date change. I haven't been losing at all for pretty much the last 2-3 months and that's around the time I changed my weigh in from Sunday to Wednesday. I changed it from Sunday originally because I was holding back on what I was eating on the weekends because of my upcoming weigh in but now that I moved it to Wednesday I feel that I overdo it on weekends a bit thinking that I have a few days to work it off or get back on track. I was consistently losing when I had my weigh in on Sunday so I'm bringing it back! I feel it will get me to my July goal of getting to 160 or hopefully even less. I'm ready to hit my 3rd mini goal on ww of 157.
I did ab ripper x yesterday and as always it was a killer. My next day is going to be Monday so it matches up with my bootcamp class that I will try to talk myself out of. Tomorrow we are going to my parents for dinner and swimming I'm glad I'll have a ww companion there to help keep eating in check. Then Monday we are having a few friends over so I get to control what foods we eat which is nice. What are your plans for the weekend and are you worried about going off plan?

I'm ready for this month!!
Attended another day of bootcamp today and it was exhausting. I once again had to talk myself into going because I was tired this morning. I really need to go to bed earlier the nights before my class. It was a class filled with get up sit ups, fire hydrants, mountain climbers, mason twists, and a bunch of other painful things. Yet I was energized and happy I went when it was all done. Funny how that works. Last night it was my hubby and my 3yr dating anniversary. Does anyone else celebrate that even though your married? We did some bad eating of course but whatev got right back on plan this morning. Here are some pics of us before we left:
We had to stop by my moms house to get my pineapple corer and she surprised me with these!
These are super awesome!! They are 1 cup, 1/2 cup and 1/4 cup. So you can measure stuff out and be discreet about it if your hosting. Does anyone ever get weird looks when they are measuring out there stuff with guests around?
