Weigh in day and turbofire 30day progress pics!!

Last weeks weigh in: 166.8

This weeks weigh in: 164.2

Difference of: -2.6lbs!

I am finally at 30lbs lost and I have a reward to check off my list!!! A bigger loss then I was expecting especially since I was on my monthly time all last week and now. I was showing a gain through the week but somehow it changed. I think using the bodybugg has a lot to do with it. I was consistently eating around 1700 calories with the assumption that I was burning 2700 or more when in reality I normally don't so that has been a big wake up call for me.

As some of you proably have already read I finished my first 30days of TurboFire yesterday so this morning I took my measurements and progress pics:

   Day1:                                    Day30:
Weight 172.0                           Weight: 164.2 -7.8lbs
Chest: 33.75                             Chest: 32 -1.75
Hips: 40                                    Hips: 39 -1
Waist: 38.5                               Waist: 37.5 -1
Right Thigh: 23                          RT: 22.75 -.25
Left Thigh: 24                            LT: 23.5 -.5
Right Arm: 13                            RA: 12.5 -.5
Left Arm: 12.75                         LA: 12 -.75

Total loss of: 5.75inches all over
Total weight loss: 7.8lbs
 Here are my comp pics:

I swear I actually do my hair these are just taken first thing in the morning when I get out of bed! I don't notice a huge difference its mostly in face I think and a little in my butt but I'm happy with the progress I have made and I'm ready to tackle the next 60days!

I also took some comp pics from when I FIRST started this whole weight loss journey

I didn't take one today with my arms flexing

Did you take any pics from when you first started your journey???

Another week another weigh in!

So today is another weigh in... I must admit when I woke up this morning I was a little nervous about what I would see on the scale. I haven't seemed to be able to break past the 186 mark but I feel I have been working hard and hoped I had something to show for it. I got on and saw 183flash by and got super excited but it stopped at 184.8 still awesome!!! It's only a loss of 1.4lbs but still I couldn't believe it. If I were to apply myself all the time maybe my loses would be higher lol. Tonight I'm going to attend the kickboxing class after school. Bethanny to answer your question the class I attend is with a bunch of random people I don't know at a business complex. I don't think I could handle 1 on 1 I'm the type who gets easily embarrassed. Hope you don't mind me answering your question here I just feel whenever someone asks me something and I comment back they will never realize I said anything. The class was introduced to me by a friend and I have gone with her once. Tonight will only be my second time going and I wish I had someone to go with, none of my friends are that committed to losing weight and it's kind of a bummer. Anyway. hope everyone has an awesome week and sticks to plan, I have my 60day progress pictures on Wednesday hope I can tell the difference!! If today is your weigh in how did it go?

Friend Makin Monday and Weigh in

So today I weighed in and I only lost .4lbs I was at 188.4lbs such a bummer! I just started my totm yesterday so that may have something to do with it but I have no idea. I'm a little bummed since like I said before I wanted to be at 185 but I only have 3lbs to go so I will be "bringing it" this week. Tonight I'm going to be going to a kickboxing class that should be fun instead of doing my normal cardio workout. Then tomorrow its time to take the 30day mark pics.

I linked up with a Friend Makin' Monday linky so if you want to join and find some new blogs the link is below!

     1) What was the most enjoyable part of your weekend? Went out with hubby Saturday night and had so much fun. We haven't done something just me and him in a while. We had a new pizza place and dessert at the melting pot so yummy!

    2) List two or three material possessions that you can't live without: My phone, blender for all my breakfast shakes, and probably my laptop. Even though I dont NEED it I like to have it.

    3) Which day are you looking forward to most in the coming week? Wednesday, I'm off of work and going to a concert with my family

    4) Share one of your most embarrassing stories. When I was in 6th grade my teacher wouldn't let me use the restroom when I felt sick to my stomach and I ended up throwing up everywhere

    5) List three of your "must-read" blogs and tell us why we should read them too!

1.Awkward Sex and the City If you don't mind a vulgar blog she is super funny!

2.Bethany is sick of being fat Also really funny

    3. A little pink in a world of Camo. I recently stopped following this blog but if you find it its super good. My only recommendation is to read from her day one and go forward and not read anything recent.

Now it's your turn to get involved and answers these questions. You can answer them here or in your own post. Just be sure to share a link so everyone can see it. Have a good week friends!

Note: When adding your blog's url, please be sure to include a direct link to your FMM post so you can receive comments from new and old blogging friends as well! Yes I'm still here!

So It's been a week since I actually made a real post and not to much has happend. On Monday we went to hubby's dads bbq and I think I did ok. Had some ribs, potato salad and fresh fruit with some reisling. Then for dessert which I could of have done without, we had a small brownie with ice cream. The kind that comes in a small cup with a wooden spoon. We spent the majority of the day in the pool and was too exhausted to work out when we got home. So once again two days in row skipped. I went and weighed in for the biggest loser challenge on Wednesday after school. I was bummed though because I weighed in for the contest and it was 9 at night so the reading wsn't accurate and I was embarrased to have someone else see my weight besides hubby and you guys : )

I really wanted to be a 185lbs by tomorrow but I don't think that's going to happen I got on the scale this morning and it was 188.0lbs boo. Earlier this week it was 187.7 but that's the lowest I got. It's still a loss but normally I lose about 2 a week and this wasn't even a full 1. I guess I'm getting greedy. I decided that Saturday's are my days off from working out. They are always too busy to try to fit something in. It's also a day where I eat a little junk food. I don't want it to call it a "cheat" day because I don't consider what I'm doing a diet it's a lifestyle change. Just a day where I don't make the healthiest of choices. The weather is getting a little bit nicer here in Az I can't wait to start running. I'm ready to finish c25k! Hubby ran with me before but now he isn't sure he wants to anymore because he is trying everything to gain weight and running will help him lose. I considered doing it on a treadmill but I like to do it outside especially since I want to run in an actual 5k. He's the only one I want to run with I hope he changes his mind. On Tuesday we take our 30day pics I'll post them up So you guys can see my progress if any : )

        Another weigh in.

So I usually do my weigh ins on Sundays, I don't really know why but I like that day. This weekend I did it on Friday morning because I knew this weekend wouldn't be the best of eating weekends. So I got on the scale and it said 188.8!!! I was so excited I haven't been under 190 since around Febuary. At the same time I'm a little worried about ruining it. Hubby wanted to do a date night yesterday and then tonight I am going to sushi with mom so I know I'll be retaining a lot of water because of the high sodium so my weight would be off if I would of have weighed myself Sunday. I'm not planning to go crazy but I dont want to be disappointed tomorrow morning. Also on Monday we are going to a bbq at the father in laws I may bring some fish for him to grill but not sure yet. Anyway I didn't do too bad last night. We went and had Mexican food we ordered a quesidilla to share which I probably could of have done without and I had fish tacos but i only had one because I didn't like it at all and a few chips and salsa. We also had frozen yogurt that was delicious by the way! This morning I had my breakfast shake because we were having a  meeting at work, they usually always bring doughnuts so I figured that if I have my shake in the morning I will not have one. Well that backfired, through the course of the day I have already had 2. I don't understand why I don't have any self control. but I'm not going to dwell everyone has an off day and I will work harder in my workout. So tonight my plan is to have sashimi which I don't see being too bad and maybe sharing a roll with my mom at sushi I was going to have some wine but decided I don't need the empty calories after my day and last night. What do you do to recover from falling off the healthy eating wagon?

A lot of catching up to do...

It's been a few days since I last wrote, I don't even know why I have been coming on and reading everyone Else's blogs but haven't had the motivation to write in my own. I guess now that I have built up a following I should write more  : ). Sunday was a fail for me all of my hard work pretty much went down  the drain that day and my lack of sleep finally caught up with me. First off the day before we once again went out with some friends and they wanted to go to a wine bar. That is my biggest weakness!  So we went and I had a wine flight which was amazing by the way I figure why deprive myself of things I love. I'm going to die in the end anyway so why not do what I like but still not give up on my goal or over indulge! We got some food while we were there but it was the healthier options but then we went and  had frozen yogurt. That I'm sure I could of have done without but whatever. So the next morning is my weekly weigh in and I figured I would of have lost something but the scale was not liking me that morning. I Went from 191.8lbs the previous week to 192.2 which I understand is nothing but just seeing a higher number after a hard week of work bums me out. So fast forward to that night I had just got home from work and was lounging around with hubby. I had to make dinner but could not find the motivation to make anything. I really I mean REALLY wanted pizza. I figured its quick and easy and I can just sit on the couch with my hubby and watch grey's anatomy and eat pizza. Well that didn't happen the hubs would not let me order pizza and it made me so angry and put me in a bad mood. It's pretty bad when I get that pissed about not being able to eat something even when its in my best interest. So I ended up cooking dinner and my recipe for the day was a turkey burger with cottage fries (12skinny ones) and a salad and it was so good! I was proud of myself for eating well and not giving in to my huge craving even though I would have if hubby wasn't around. Isn't that awful!

So I started week three of Power 90 and the workouts still kick my butt and I'm only on level 1-2. I put in the dvd for level 3-4 just to see what I should be expecting and it is exactly the same thing just at a way faster pace. I already have a hard time keeping up then they expect me to put it in fast forward mode! Well that won't be for about another 4weeks so hopefully I will be able to keep up.

On Monday I went to the store to get my groceries for the week but have been having a hard time finding soy nuts so I thought I would try sprouts before heading to the regular store. That may have been the best decision I have ever made. I had never been there before and so I found the soy nuts and decided to look around and see what else on my list I could get. They had almost everything I needed and some things were in a way healthier form. So I go to check out and thought it would be pretty expensive and I only spent $60! The same things would have cost me over $100 at fry's. So Sprouts is my new go to place. I was so happy.  So my eating plan has some amazing food on it like I have said before. I can't believe some of the recipes it has on there they are so good! So I wanted to share another for all the cat fish lovers out there. I had never  had catfish but I tried it and it was amazing!!
