Weigh in day and scc check in!

so weigh in was monday but I didn't have time to make a post for it but here it is!

Last week weight: 170.2lbs
This weeks weight: 170.4lbs
Difference: +.2

Hubby and I went out to eat the night before and also had a couple of drinks probably a dumb thing  to do before a weigh in and it has since come down since then about a pound actually.

 So far I am still down from the beginning I thought I set some weekly goals for last week but apparantly not so I will this week
  • lose 1-2lbs
  • keep under 1700 calories each day
  • No alcohol
  • No skipping workouts
  • Make 1-2 youtube videos

A day in Jerome

Hubby and I spent the day in a small town here called Jerome! It wasn't the best "on plan" day but I did the best with what I had to work with. We don't get days like this too often and I wasn't going to pass it up because of a weight loss plan I am on.

We did wine tasting at two different places walked around and took pictures and went in and out of the little shops. Hubby bought some hot sauce and got me the prettiest necklace even though I said no : ) it was so sweet : ) we stopped at some outlets on the way home and got some stuff at bath and body works then stopped and got dinner at pita jungle.

All in all it was an awesome day and can't wait for more like that

it was so fun and I don't think it should really negatively affect my weight which was 1.4lbs less today. Why couldn't weigh in have been today lol!! Well just gotta keep it up till Monday!!

Response to some bloggie comments (not negative)

I got quite a few comments on my last post and wanted to write some responses to them and I wasn't quite sure how to do that and I figured this is the best way. None of the comments were negative so its not that kind of post : ) I appreciate all my followers always leaving supportive/nice comments, no one has ever been rude : )

Karla: I totally get what your saying about not being able to track well when going out I always think the same thing but then my laziness gets in the way lol its easier for me to just workout when I get home to distract me : )

Sandra: It has been harder for me to lose the weight since I have gotten to the 166-170 range and I figured that was why but I still want to go down to the 140-145 range

Illiterate: thanks for the comment and supportive words : ) the scale is not mine I took it from google but I wish it was it's so cute!!!!

Weigh in and spring chick challenge check in

 Weigh in day!!!
Last weeks weight: 172.4
This weeks weight: 170.2

Loss of 2.2lbs!!!!!!
I honestly wasn't expecting such a big loss but of course I will take it : ) I skipped my Saturday and Sunday workouts because of lack of sleep/laziness and I had mcdonalds for din on Saturday but I'll take it!!!

 Now it's time for my spring chick challenge check in!

* What worked? Tracking calories and sticking to my workouts 4 out of 6days

* What didn't work? Being lazy lol hubby got food poisioning and I was up late with him until about 3am on sat morning so then when I got home from work after 10hours I was exhausted

* What can you not wait to do again? Fire 55 love that workout!!

* What are you never going to do again? I did somethings I didn't want to do this week but I can't say I would never do that again

* Discuss your biggest obstacles and how you over came them. My biggest obstacle is being lazy when it comes to making dinner. I love to go out on dates or just take the easy way out when it comes to dinner and that doesn't help me at all. We only went out once the whole last week so we did good but the urge was there multiple days. I am going to try to just eat at home and save the money.

* Did you receive enough support? Or do you need/ want more support? I have enough at home but would love more from the bloggie friends : )

So the next question is....

Popchip Review/giveaway

So I was given the opportunity to sample some popchips. I was given a box with each flavor then a big box with a bunch of random ones to use for a giveaway. Pop chips are great for the snacker that wants something salty but guilt free. I was hit and miss with the flavors that were given to me. I have previously had pop chips but just the salt and vinegar and I really liked those. I was sent out

Cheddar- honestly I was not a fan of this flavor it honestly had a super bad taste. I only had one and had to throw the rest out.

Original- this flavor had a good flavor I used them to scoop chili and I really liked it

BBQ- This flavor actually became my new favorite. It tasted just like a regular bbq chip without all the grease. If you like bbq then this is the chip for you

sour cream & onion- These were really good as well had good flavor a little bit of an aftertaste but nothing too bad

Salt and vinegar- like I previously stated I really like these ones. I really missed salt and vinegar chips when on ww cuz I didn't want to sacrifice the points for such a little amount.

According to the popchips website they have

No fake colors
No fake flavors
no preservitives
No cholesterol
no greasy chip hands!

They were also nice enough to give me some extra to give away. I'm going to give away two boxes of mix and match flavors about 5 a box (I'm not 100% sure how many I actually have so it could be more) so if you would like to try them out enter my giveaway!

I posted my new years goals/resolutions on my fmm post but I know that not everyone likes to read them so I decided to put them into a separate post. last year on my Jan 2nd weigh in I weighed only 7lbs more then I do now it sucks I pretty much wasted an entire year "trying" and only have 7lbs to show for it. I know what I did wrong and I know how to fix it and I am going to! I have a plan I love and calorie counting has worked well for me when I apply myself . So I'm not really setting any resolutions because I WILL get to goal this year but what I want to accomplish is
  • Get to goal!!!
  • Finish turbofire
  • Pass all my classes 
  • finish at least 6 books
  • spend more time with my grandmother and father
  • be consistent with good eating
  • work on getting closer to god
 I'm excited to see how everything will be throughout the next couple months. I can't wait to be at goal  and start maintaining!

My spring chick challenge rules

1. Commit to a NSV
  • Fit into a pair of 9 jeans I bought
  • complete turbofire
 2. Commit to a set of nutrition parameters and track via MyFitnessPal or Sparkpeople or WW.
* 1500-1600 calories a day
* 80+ oz a day
* Try to limit going out to dinner to once every two weeks

3. Commit to a set of exercise parameters.
  • Complete turbofire
4. Commit to blogging at least twice weekly1 of those times must be you check in with a complete up date on your progress.
  • weigh in day will be Monday's no matter what the scale says.
5. Commit to support... both giving and receiving. Check others blogs and comment as you feel motivated to do.
