so after weighing in at 167.8 yesterday I get on the scale today and it says 164.8. How does that make sense? I also did both weigh in's after my first pee so nothing crazy happened with that either. I know some ppl try to go multiple times I'm sure my extra activity yesterday helped but I don't know what number to believe. This is the problem with getting on the scale everyday but it was nice to see. Now I just have to stick with eating right and working out to make it last!

Weigh in Wedneday
*This should of posted yesterday but blogger was acting up last night*
Well its another wednesday so another weigh in! I think all the crap from last weekend caught up to me : (
Two weeks ago: 166.0lbs
This weeks weigh in: 167.8
Another gain of 1.8lbs
So obviously I have slacked a bit. and my poor choices have caught up with me. It has to be from last weekend because I have been eating well all week. So I know next week will for sure be better. I'm disappointed but my choices from the previous weekend couldn't be avoided but I know what to do to get it down. The funny thing is I went to the gym the other night and I had bought some new workout pants since non of mine fit and they were size small and when I saw my reflection I thought "wow, I look skinny" I haven't thought or felt that at all in a long time! Then I get mad when I see the number on the scale so I'm completely thrown off right now so we will see what happens next week with being on plan and working out more.
I went to bootcamp this morning and it was awesome. I almost talked myself out of it because I was tired but I had the day off so I told myself I can sleep when I get home so I went and it was great! Gave me a lot of energy and I really tried hard this time instead of kind of slacking like my last round. They are offering a make up class since the instructor didnt show up monday next saturday and monday's class is being postponed till Tuesday so I'll be doing it tuesday wednesday friday saturday next week. It's gunna be a crazy week!
Since hubby and I were off we just hung out at home and did some swimming. Then around 745ish we did p90x's ab ripper x. He wants to start doing that 3x's a week so I'm going to try my best to start doing it with him. There really is no reason not to it's only about 10mins long and I can do it day's I have bootcamp. Then we headed off to the gym. I did 15min on the elliptical, 15min on the stair climber and 15min running on the treadmill. I was drenched in sweat but it felt so good I'm really glad I went. I'm really trying this week. I know if I stick to plan and get in activity I will lose weight. I only have 20lbs to go and I need to just apply myself and stop lolligaging. I have set a new goal for October 15th and added a ticker on the side to help with motivation!

I have slacked way too much lately
I honestly don't even have an excuse for it. Its just easier I guess. I'll track my points all day and then dinner rolls around and I'm either too tired or lazy and we we end up going out and eating something bad or I will have a glass of un measured wine or splurge on unmeasured dessert. I have gained a lb or so and my hubby has lost around 3. (He is trying to gain ps) so we are both not happy with what is going on so we re committed this week to really be focused. I went to zumba last night and I am going to the gym right after work tonight. Since my work schedule has changed I haven't been able to go to zumba like normal so my activity is way less. So I'm biting the bullet and just going after work even though its pretty late but its better then just going home and sitting on the couch. I have bootcamp tomorrow and I'm looking forward to that. I went on Monday but the instructor didn't show up : ( so it had to be rescheduled. We went to the store last night and restocked on healthy choices so now we have no excuse! Last night I had some fajita's and they were amazing!!! Weigh in tomorrow hope it goes well! Also don't forget about the plank challenge goal is to eventually get up to five mins!!

Plank Challenge Day one!!!
So today is day one of the plank challenge. All you have to do is do a plank either on your forearms or palms. Time yourself and see how long then just leave a comment with your time. The goal is to work up to five mins! If anyone could/wants to make me a button I would definetly appreciate it cuz I can not figure it out : ( A plank is one of the best core exercises you can do but its a hard one!!

What a weekend!
So I just had the last four days off and they may have been the busiest four days off I have had in a long time! If you remember I was in a wedding that just happened on Monday and also attended a wedding on Saturday. This weekend was all the before wedding stuff and it was so so busy. Sat morning I went and got my nails done with the bridal party and the bride hosted a bridal luncheon. After that went home got ready and headed out to a friends wedding. Sunday we had three dads house's to visit and also had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner for the Monday wedding. Then Monday came and we of course had the wedding which is an all day thing. Yesterday was a lazy day and I didn't do much breakfast was a normal meal lunch I skipped since I had a late breakfast and dinner we had pizza : ( .Needless to say there was pretty much no way to be on plan at all this weekend well besides yesterday of course. Now I'm not saying I went crazy or anything. I still made good choices with the options that were presented to me but that is not saying the options were good ones. Normally today is my weigh in day but I don't want to step on the scale for at least a week so that way my body can readjust and get rid of all the sodium it endured over the weekend so I'll be back to my normal weigh in next week. I may have gained a pound or two but I know its not anything super signifigant but my pants are a little tighter today I'm waiting for a good bowel movement lol sorry tmi : (
The nice thing is that we don't have any events coming up for at least a month that would put me off plan so my husband and I are really going to work hard this next month. I also resigned my boot camp membership so I finish my first round this friday I'm not 100% sure when the next round starts. I used groupon to find it originally then they sent me a link if I wanted to keep doing it for $80 a month no contract instead of the $199 per month 1year contract. I figured I'm semi close to hitting my goal and this will help get me there, well as long as I go that is. I skipped twice last week. One day I woke up and could barely move my left arm my shoulder hurt so bad and I knew weight lifting could only make it worse. Then Monday I skipped because I woke up around 3am and almost puked randomly and I didn't want to push it and I felt nauseated the rest of the day I don't know what caused it but I am back to normal now. I got in some good activity from the weddings though which was nice my hubby and I like to dance! Here are a few pics from the weekend. Sorry for the black boxes they are screen shots from my phone.
I'm glad to be back in my routine again. That always helps me stay on track. This week I'm going to try to do a workout everyday and also follow the healthy guidelines that way if any excess weight was put on it will come off : ) This morning I did bootcamp and I am thinking about doing kickboxing tonight. Then tomorrow Zumba dance game and Friday back to bootcamp again. How was everyones weekend?? I have so many blogs to catch up on!
Coming up: Info on plank challenge let me know if you would be interested if you haven't yet!!!

Its been a few days
I haven't written in a few days not too much to say. I have been trying to stick to plan as best as possible. I went to an awards lunch on Thursday at a bbq place and had chicken a bit of coleslaw a piece of cornbread and some french fries then Friday was the bachelorette party we went to cheesecake factory and I had a turkey burger and water but also splurged on some french fries. I did however pass on the cheesecake. Let me tell you that was one hard decision. All the girls ordered a piece but me but I knew that it was just food and once I ate it I would not be happy with it but when I saw them eating it I really wanted some but held back lol. Then Saturday came and I was right back on plan!! I haven't been as active lately besides my bootcamp. I ordered the zumba game for my kinect so I'm looking forward to having that at home!! This week should be good for eating. Up until the weekend lol saturday I'm going to a bridal luncheon then a wedding in the evening and another wedding the monday after. But with all the wedding food comes a lot of dancing!! I'm going to try to add in some more cardio this week so my weigh in isn't hurt to bad!!! This weekends kill me sometimes! What do you do to make it through the weekends?

Weigh in...
Weigh in Wednesday!
Last week weigh in: 167.4
This weeks weigh in: 165.0 -2.4lbs
I'm happy with the results this week! I really tried hard and the scale proves it! This is also my first weigh in a week into boot camp so I'm sure that has something to do with it to! I was seeing 164 a couple times this week but didn't want to jinx it by bringing it up but hopefully it will show that next week. I have two bachelorette parties this weekend but I'm not planning on drinking and I will have dinner before I go to either. I will be making an appointment for my 165lb reward I really need a massage!!! I'm so happy I have gotten to this point I felt like I was stuck at the 167 mark and now I have broken past it! Only 20lbs to goal hopefully it doesn't take too long!!! Anyone else weigh in today?

Recipe idea help and other randomstuff!
Well hubby and I didn't go to Jerome for the day kind of bummed about it but also happy because I am super exhausted. Day 3 of boot camp is in the books and I almost didn't go. I had a hard time sleeping last night and was exhausted this morning when I got up. I had an argument with myself in my head basically going back and forth on whether I should go back to bed or not. I almost talked myself into it but decided I only have to go for an hour and I can come home and go back to bed if I want. Today's camp was brutal. I don't know if it was a combo of being tired and it being hard or if it was just hard. We did so many lunges, push ups, mountain climber things, planks and finished it off with running. I was dripping in sweat and actually felt sick to my stomach but felt good none the less. I came home took a shower and of course couldn't fall back asleep lol
I went and had my dress resized from this post and the lady said that she was going to take it in pretty much 4 inches all over. Based on my last measurements from Jan I had to order that dress in a 14 and I asked the lady today what size would I be now, and she said a "good 10"! I can't believe I pretty much have lost 4 dress sizes since Jan! I'm almost to the single digits so exciting! So I'm looking forward to seeing how the dress fits when I get it back I'll post the before and afters. I feel super focused right now especially since my goal isn't too far away. I'm already past the half way point with no looking back!
The other day I watched the hungry girl show on the food network. I honestly didn't care for it too much but there was recipe that she made that I liked. It was a pizza themed show and she used a tortilla as the crust so I tried the same concept today with my own toppings and came up with this.
It's a whole wheat tortilla with 1/4 cup of pasta sauce, 1 mozzarella string cheese, 8slices of turkey pepperoni and spinach. I baked it at 350 for about 5mins until the cheese melted. I think it could of have gone a little longer cuz it was kind of flimsy but it was amazing!!! If I am ever craving pizza I will just turn to this instead of high point reg pizza.
Last thing sorry this is a dragging post lol does anyone have any low point or low cal recipes for whole wheat gnocchi? I love the soup at the olive garden and would love to make something similar or even use it a different way but on ww there were only 3recipes and they didn't appeal to me. I haven't really looked online figured I could turn to you guys first!! Thanks in advance if you have any!!!
and for your viewing pleasure here is a pic of me and hubs from yesterday lol

I haven't participated in fmm in a while but I will this week I love the topic! I know its not monday but we won't be around too much tomorrow for me to post. Kenz at all the weigh hosts this everyweek and also changed her domain recently so check it out!!
Why Do You Blog??
I don't really have a main reason that I blog. I started my blog a year ago when I first started my weight loss journey and saw a lot of blogs out there and it was pretty inspiring to me. I always love to get ideas and tips from other people so I decided to start my own. I love to get my own ideas and feelings down it's a nice way to relax as well when I'm having a hard day. The blogging community is so inspirational, fun, and super supportive. I always know if I need ideas or if I had a bad week no one will judge and will always offer supportive advice! I have gone back and read over different entries from my journey and it's nice to see I have come a long way and I can't wait to see what happens to my blog once I hit maintenance!! Why do you blog? Head over to kenzie's blog and let us know!!

Not to much planned for today I was going to do zumba this morning but decided to take a nap instead. Bad choice on my part but I'm super happy with the number I saw on the scale this morning I hope it sticks through the weekend. Like I mentioned before I have a few obstacles coming up this weekend. Tonight shouldn't be to bad I told my family I want to eat healthy so my mom and I are having grilled chicken, with black beans, cottage cheese and fruit. I can't wait actually it sounds delicious. Tomorrow on the other hand is a sushi lunch movie theater, then dinner at a mongolian grill place but you make your own bowels which is nice. Sodium hates me though and I'm sure they both will be full of it.
I bought the ww 15min recipe mag today
looking forward to trying out a few new recipes!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend make healthy choices!!!

Happy blogversary!
source |
I have the next three days off and I'm really looking forward to that but I have a rough weekend ahead of me. Dinner at my parents tomorrow then sushi and the movies on sunday followed by dinner with my father in law that evening! Then Monday hubs and I may head out to one of the small towns outside the city. Too many temptations lol. I just want to have a week where nothing at all happens so I can stick to my points without the guessing games! Tomorrow I am doing a zumba toning class followed by a regular zumba so I'm looking forward to that then Sunday will be my other rest day since so much is going on. Anyone have any good weekend plans? Back to bootcamp Monday looking forward to it!

I can't believe how sore I am!!
I literally have to fall on the toilet I'm so sore and it was only my first day of boot camp. Tomorrow will be day 2 and I'm dreading trying to workout with super sore everything!! I found out I will be short one class because they had a glitch in their computer system and the class I signed up for I shouldn't of been able to sign up for since it started up the previous day. Oh well no big. I found another deal on living social for another boot camp for only $20 so I bought that one and will be doing it after this one ends. I'm hoping to be at goal by my birthday which is in the first week of August. I set 145 as my tenative goal and I will re evaluate at that point. My bmi scale is 115-155 big gap might I add but I think 10 lbs below the maximum "normal" bmi will be a good point for me. I was 130in high school and I looked sort of bobble headish. Weighing 145 would put me at 50lbs lost which is super exciting only 21lbs to go!!! Then I will be doing some boudoir pics for my hubby and I really want my belly button pierced again lol. What are some of the things you want to do when you hit goal??
I want to get in some sort of activity tonight so I am thinking a walk with my dogs and hubby would be good I don't want to over exert anything and I don't want to be too tired for my workout in the morning.
I also had a small nsv today... well kinda I went to a meeting with my work and it ended around 2 and my coworkers wanted to go get chickfila for lunch. There are some low point options there but I knew if decided to get food there I would either order something I shouldn't or it could set off a down ward spiral. Not that I let bad choices ruin everything I just really want to stay away from not so healthy options and not eat them if I don't have to. So I faced temptation head on and didn't get anything and ate the lunch I brought!!
Tomorrow is day 2 of boot camp I'll update you on how it goes!

First day of bootcamp!
Well I did it! I attended my first day of bootcamp class! I have to admit it was a little harder then what I expected! I am not a fan of a burpee or a turkish get up lol. I thought it would be harder for me to wake up at 5 to be there on time and it wasn't maybe it was because I was excited to be there or something lol. I think this class will definitely make a difference in my body and I am determined to be at 160 by the end of June. Speaking of that here are my June goals!!
1. Be at 160 by June 30th
2. Do not miss one Boot camp class
3. Stay within point range and even count when going out to best of my ability
4. Workout on days I do not have bootcamp but allow one day for rest
5. Finish a book
6. Do a daily devotional with my hubby
7. Try at least one new ww recipe per week
Kind of a lot of goals but I honestly think they are fairly easy goals to accomplish. I know I have said it a million times but I need to get out of the 160's. I don't think I have plateaued I just think I'm fairly comfy where I am at which I need to get out of that mindset. I have lost 30lbs so far and I only have 20 to go I know I can do it. I just need to be more determined and not so flexible with my eating style. I'm on my monthly time now and for some reason I get lazy during that time and never want to cook and it ends up snowballing. For example last night we went out to dinner and went and had frozen yogurt. I just wasn't feeling good and didn't want to cook even though I had plenty of food at home. I faced the music this morning and changed my weigh in day back to Wednesday. I needed a fresh start for June 1st and Friday didn't fit my lifestyle, it seemed and ever since I changed it I never saw a loss. So I weighed in today at 167.4 and got all my points back as far as weeklys go.
I don't mean to seem flakey as far as changing my weigh in but I need to have the day best for me and that will help me get to my goal faster. I am looking forward to my results after the boot camp and I may throw in a few insanity workouts in the evening. My friend has it and is going to let me borrow it! I'm also thinking of buying that zumba game for kinect since my work schedule doesn't let me get to the actual class that is offered at 630. I'll be taking measurements and pics tonight for my pre bootcamp stuff. I don't assume one day of boot camp will skew the results!! Can't wait to read everyone's goals for the month!
