I don't know why its so hard

for me to keep up with this blog... I read them everyday but yet never find time to write in it.
So this week I decided to take a break from turbofire. I was doing the workouts as I was suppose to, but my eating was so off with different celebrations and birthdays and my work schedule was all over the place. I haven't been going crazy with my eating and I have been watching my portions fairly well I just want my turbo fire results to be good and to know I gave it the best that I could and I don't feel like this week is going to give true results so on Monday I am repeating week three and that will be the only week that would of have been skipped so I'm looking forward to getting back into it knowing there are no major distractions coming up.

loving turbo fire

so I have been loving turbo fire! The workouts are so fun so fast paced and kick my butt every time!!! I have been making my you tube videos still and you can view them and subscribe over to the left! Eating has gone well for me counting calories has been pretty simple using spark people. I never feel overly hungry and it is a lot easier for me to stay on track! I am about half away through week 2 and I have noticed some good results so far. I had a pair of skinny jeans that were pretty tight on my waist and now I can slide them off/on without unbuttoning them. I was actually wearing them yesterday while I was cleaning at my moms house and they kept sliding down so I wanted to use one of her belts and they were too small for me : ( that was a little saddening so I got my dads and he was like oh this should wrap around you twice (in a joking way) and it fit perfectly lol so I'm looking forward to when my moms belt fits me well lol


Last night I did eat off plan a bit and had a drink and didn't feel guilty about it and enjoyed it and normally when I did that I would feel guilty and mad at myself so I think that alone is progress!!!

5 day inferno results!

So I finished the five day inferno with awesome results and now am onto day four of the actual plan. I lost 4.4lbs in the first 5days and a total of 4inches all over. I love the plan so much it is so fun and the workouts go by super fast and I burn so many calories in it. I am liking calorie counting so much more then counting points right now. It's working better for me and I see a difference daily and it has made me really pay attention to what I am eating and make better choices after seeing how many calories I have used and how many I have left for the day. I have pretty much only been drinking water and I will make iced tea with tea bags which I love I never used to drink it and it tastes super yummy! I haven't been tempted or felt the desire to go out to eat at all when normally I wanted to at least once a week i don't know if it's because I have been keeping myself from getting super hungry by eating more filling snacks or if its just from seeing results and eating healthy and not eating a lot of packaged foods and not wanting to mess it up. I tell you one thing though, it really helps on the pocket book to be eating at home more. The other day I was pretty hungry and didn't really know what I wanted to eat and so I actually went into the cabinets and found something to make instead of just saying forget it and getting a pizza so that was huge for me. I have read about the changes that ww made and it sounds kind of confusing and I don't like how you decide how many points to use and add more or less whether you are gaining or losing I want something that tells me what to do. Not saying anything bad about it I just don't think it would be ideal for me at this point in my weightloss journey. I'm looking forward to what the scale will show me on Monday when I do my weight in I have seen some good progress this week so far!

Turbofire Five day inferno day 5

Well I have stuck to 5whole days of turbo fire!!! I love the plan the workouts are so awesome and so much fun and honestly the time flies while you are doing the workouts since they are so fast paced! Yesterday I was pretty tired and almost didn't do my workout when I got home but I told myself I am not going to get anywhere if I don't do them so I might as well just get it over with instead of feeling like crap the next day for not doing it and it worked : ) I have been keeping up with my youtube videos and I am about to publish my 5th one! I don't have any subscribers lol but it's still fun to do and I know that when I am done with the plan it will be awesome to see where I started from and how I was feeling and what struggles I faced. I am still trying to get some sort of meal plan figured out for myself that won't break the bank but that will be healthy and get me all the calories that I need. I have been consistently burning 600+ calories each workout and I want to make sure that I am giving myself enough fuel.

On another note I need a new header I messed mine up lol any tips on where I can do that at???

day3 is in the books!

today is day four of turbo fire I am down 2.8 pounds so far and not sure of how many inches since I wont be taking measurements till Sunday. I am loving the program so far! It is so fun and so fast pased and I cant wait to see the final result of the 5day inferno on Sunday. After that I will be jumping into the 12week program! I think this time is different for me first I really like the program which helps more then anything, two I have my youtube channel and I like making the videos everyday, and of course this blog. I also want to do it for myself and my husband not just the weightloss portion but finishing the plan. I have tried a lot of things and I never finish it, and this time I just want to get it done and actually complete something.
I went onto weightwatchers yesterday and printed out all of my fave recipes and put in a cancellation notice for my account so I need to work on a new title for my blog! Any suggestions? I know they just made some changes but with turbofire its essentually about calories in vs. calories out. For the first four weeks they want me eating around 1700 to lose 2lbs a week so I am trying to work on a meal plan for myself to help keep me on track, but I have been struggling a bit with meals and ideas for food that take me to the total. any healthy suggestions? I made a video for my day three if you want to check it out!

It's time to Turbo Fire

So I am thinking of taking this blog into a new direction. I haven't really been happy with my results on weight watchers recently and I am tired of not getting anywhere. Which I know is partly my fault for not being 100% committed. I also don't want to have to go through changes again at the beginning of the year. So I decided to take a break from ww and I decided to go with calorie counting and doing the workout from beachbody called turbofire! I have done two days of workouts so far and I love it. It's fast paced cardio, with dancing and kickboxing. I woke up with my body completely sore today which hasn't happened in a long time and I actually look forward to the workouts. I will still be tracking my progress on this blog and also through youtube! I have never done anything with recording myself for others to watch (especially complete strangers) but I thought having a health and fitness channel would possibly hold me more responsible and make me actually stick to what I am doing : ) I hope that I don't disappoint anyone but what I was doing wasn't working and I needed to do something that would so hopefully this gets me somewhere! With all the christmas stuff around the corner I needed something that would keep me committed and not something I would blow off or "start again tomorrow"

weigh in wednesday (a day late) and something exciting!!!

So I know this is a day late but I weighed in yesterday at 169.0 woo hoo another non loss lol but also not a gain I feel like I am stuck my body hates me and I am not making any progress even though I got all the recommended activity points that ww suggests for me and I stuck to my points+ amount. I don't get what could be going on but it is very frustrating! Any tips/suggestions? maybe its my birth control holding me back... but I have only been on it for about 2weeks

So for my exciting news!! It really isn't anything that I did but if you have been reading my blog for a while you may remember that I had a zumba class I went to at my old gym and I really really liked it and then out of no where the instructor quit teaching the class so I decided to leave my gym and to join one closer to my house (a min from my driveway)  and the other day I was in there and I saw a flier for a new zumba class that they were going to be offering and guess who the new teacher is!!! well I know its obvious lol its her. So crazy but I am super happy its funny how things work out. Hopefully throwing in this zumba class will help get me out of this funk I am in with my weight loss and get the scale moving in the right direction. I NEVER thought I would be on ww for year and not be at goal yet. It's so frustrating

Granted I have not been giving it my 100% like I was before so I have been trying really hard to stick to plan especially with the hardest time of the year ahead I just want to be at goal already I need to just do it and stop talking about it but I really do feel like my body is not cooperating. : (

tonight we are going to see the new twilight movie at midnight I am not really looking forward to it I am so tired and have been up since 6!

I have never been good at titles

So I have been on plan since Monday with eating and I have worked out every day except Monday I was feeling lazy lol. I ran outside on Tuesday, did a weight workout Wednesday followed by running outside again and Thursday I did 45min on the elliptical and yesterday I did a weight training routine and 15min intervals on the treadmill. I haven't seen the scale move too much which is a little weird to me but I still have two days till weigh in. I should honestly be happy with what I have been seeing it's more then a pound but still I guess I'm just greedy. I'm just ready to get out of the 160's and I still have like 8lbs to go : ( I recently started birth control pills so I don't know if that is slowing it down a bit but at least it's not going up.

Have any of you had any issues with bc affecting your weight loss?

Tonight I am going to hang out with some girlfriends and watch some twilight I'm planning on eating dinner at work before I go so I won't have to worry about what to eat but I won't be able to get a workout in since I work 8-7 : ( Then tomorrow we are going to go running again!

Hopefully I can stay on track with working out and eating for more then one week at a time. I know that all it takes is dedication to get the results you want (funny how that works huh) so I'm going to try and treat every week the same as this week!

My gym started zumba finally so I hope I have some exciting news about that. More to come after I go Tuesday!

good workout and to do or not to do insanity!

so I went to the gym tonight to do some cardio since last night was my weight training night and I did about 45 min on the elliptical it was only me and one other lady there which was nice and I got to watch one of my fave shows while I worked out so that made the time go by even faster. I was pretty tired today and of course almost talked my self out of going but I knew that that wouldn't get me anywhere so I went and I was happy with my results!




Not sure how accurate that is but it was an awesome workout!! Its hard to get there sometimes but you never regret going!!


and this is me after. Excuse my ugo face lol I was semi not ready even though I took it of myself lol. When I left I was the only one there which is a little scary but I always call my hubby who is less then a min away just in case!

Tomorrow I have the option to go running after work or do my weight training again but not 100% sure of what I should do any suggestions?? : ) Saturday I have to skip since I work 8-7 and have plans immediately after work then back at it on Sunday.

My friend I am seeing sat night is bringing me insanity. I think I may incorporate that a little bit into my workout schedule and go at it all the way starting dec 1st or jan1st depending at what weight I end up at the end of the month but either way I am super excited/nervous!

another day of eats!!!

I really like taking pics of my food I feel that it really helps to keep me accountable of what I eat!
Here is yesterday's bfast

2slices of nature's own bread with 1.5oz of ham and 1hard boiled egg with a slice of cheese and 1tbs of reduced fat mayo with olive oil and a side of grape tomatos

Lunch was another tostada I seriously love these things right now and they are so fast to make!
1corn tortilla cooked in 1tsp of evolive oil
with 2oz of lean ground turkey
1/4cup of ff cheddar cheese
topped with salsa
and dry cole slaw mix topped with walden farms coleslaw sauce

Then I had a super amazing dinner it was so yummy!!! 4oz shirataki fettucini pasta with 3oz grilled chicken and 1/4 cup walden farms alfredo sauce 1 quarter of a steamed acorn squash and a glass of milk!

I ended up with 1pt+ left for the day but couldn't think of anything to eat!

Be careful with acorn squash by the way! I was trying to cut it open and my knife slipped and it cut my finger! it hurt so bad

If you follow me on my twitter page you may already know this but last night me my hubby and a friend of ours decided to head out for a run around 7ish. It was around 50degrees! It has been a while since we have run outside but it felt awesome! We did 2.27miles in 29.47 mins. Not horrible but could be better. I felt really good doing it but I did get a side stich once and I had to stop. If I would burp it would go away it was weird. I am going to head to the gym tonight to do some weight training then we are headed out for another run tonight. It was a lot warmer today so that should help a little bit!

I have been super hungry today I don't know if it is from the running or not but I feel like I can't get full even when I have a good protein packed meal. Do you ever have those kind of days?

I didn't post my weigh in from Monday but I pretty much got back up to what I started at from day one but today I was back down to 168.0 so I'm looking forward to what next weigh in will be. We don't have anything planned that can throw us off of eating right and saturday is a girls night but at someones house so its easy to eat well at stuff like that.

We are trying not to drink any alcohol until thanksgiving time or later to help keep calories in check. Its just not worth the points either we have been eating farily "clean" lately and not eating a lot of packaged stuff so hopefully that makes a difference on the scale on Monday. I'm still striving for my goal by thanksgiving it doesn't seem too possible but I am doing my best. As long as I am out of the 160's by Dec 1st I will be happy!!!

My food!!

I love to read blogs that show what they eat it helps give me new ideas on different meals to make here is what I ate yesterday!!!
Breakfast:
1Egg with 2/3cup egg whites with mushroom, broccoli, spinach and turkey lunch meat topped with ff cheddar cheese and salsa. I also had a light english muffin topped with walden farms fruit spread.

I had a iced coffe with 1tbs creamer and 1tsp of sugar for 1pt+

That pretty much lasted me a few hours. I also had a snack of a banana but forgot to take a pic

Then it was lunch time!!! I made a morningstar veggie patty and topped it with cheese and mustard on natures own whole wheat bread and had 3tbs of black beans and 3tbs of ff cottage cheese on the side

then I had a super yummy dinner! I made ground turkey since it was about to go bad but wasn't sure what to do with it. Hubby suggested to make a taco but I wanted something crunchier. So I decided to make a tostada. This was the most delicious dinner I have made in so long!!!

steamed squash and zuchinni and some grape tomato

I ended up with 4pts+ left but didn't realize this until around 10 and didn't want to eat anything else so late.

I have been having a hard time getting veggies and fruits in so steaming stuff makes it really easy.  I don't eat a lot of fruits because of the sugar/carbs so I have been leaning more towards the greans : )

I would like something romantic and spur of the moment where hubby brings me flowers tells me to get ready for somewhere nice, we get picked up by a limo and go to a restaurant that has a view over the whole city, we then go on a gondola ride downtown and come home and have wine with strawberries and slow dancing to jazz then take a candelight bubble bath followed by u know ; )... ( too much lol )

I feel like I'm sabatoging myself

every time I am on plan for a while something comes up and throws me for a loop. One night of going out with family or friends sets me up for a week of disaster. I start losing weight I do well with eating and getting to the gym then I get thrown off and gain the weight that I literally just lost the previous week. I know its not healthy AT ALL to keep losing and gaining the same 3-5lbs and I just want to get past this and I just feel like I am super lazy. Only I can control what happens with my self and how badly I want it but it doesn't seem like I want it enough but then when something throws me off I can't seem to handle it... any of you feel like this?

Weigh in!

Sorry I'm a bit late with my weigh in but after my first week on ww I weighed in at 167.2 which puts me down 2.4lbs the end of the weekend was a little rough for me we had our party on Saturday and I only had a couple of drinks nothing too crazy but food wasn't so good. We hadn't ate dinner and everything there were un healthy finger foods the Sunday my family went to dinner for my bros dinner to macaroni grill and I had two pieces of the flat bread pizza it was actually pretty gross. This week I have been doing fine with eating but working out has been a kind of lazy. But going back to the gym tonight!

Tired today + nsv

Week one day 4 of ww. Today was my cardio only day and this morning I was really wanting to go but decided to stay in bed and go after work. When I got off I worked I was so pooped but I went anyway. My legs were super sore and I tried to do some running on the treadmill and had to stop because they started hurting :-( so I got on the elliptical for another 20mins but didn't have as much energy as I normally do.

Eating was good stayed at my 29pts got a new fave snack 3cups of 97% fat free popcorn and 12 Hershey's dark chocolate mini candies they are kind of like m&ms it's a total of 3pts+

Small nsv today I have a pair of work pants that have two buttons on them and when I wear them I normally can only button one but today I got both buttoned comfortably!! I took a couple pics

Ww day 3

Sorry if this is becoming a lot of the same thing but it helps keep me accountable :-) today I felt a little bit lazy but told my self no excuses all they do is bring fat! So I went to the gym and had an amazing workout! I did a 15min cardio warm up broken down into a 5 min warm up and running for 10@5mph Then I went into my Bride work out day two. I added in an extra ab workout and two glutte exercises. After I did that I finished it up with another 15min on the treadmill doing intervals. Intervals on the treadmill make time go by so much faster when doing cardio and I really enjoy it. I want go do other cardio routines at the gym besides the elliptical and treadmil but not sure what else to do any suggestions? I was thinking of getting a jump rope and bringing it since they have a fairly large work empty space plus a whole fitness/mirror room I could go into even though I'm normally one of the only ones there when I go. Which I love! It's nice not having to wait for a machine I can work out in the center and dont have to worry about any juice heads judging me and I can go at my own pace.

Eating was good today. I didn't really have a plan so I just threw stuff together. For bfast I made a egg white omelet with mushroom, broccoli, and turkey topped with ff cheese and salsa with an iced coffee I made and paired it up with a pineapple chobani that I ate when I got to school. I had some grapes and a banana for snacks during the morning/mid day and had lunch around 230ish. I had a smartones mini cheeseburger those things are so small and they are 5pts I think it's actually a huge waste of pts and I won't be buying those again but I paired it up with broccoli covered with ff cheese and pasta sauce and a glass of milk and a couple strawberries. I was getting hungry around
6ish and I had to eat so it would be digested by work out time. I didn't really have a plan for dinner so I had some brown rice with 2oz of ground turkey and broccoli topped with BBQ sauce. It was so random but really good actually. I had a couple pts left so I had a smart ones dessert and it was so yummy!! U probably notice my mentioning of smart ones I noticed them in store for the first time the other day and noticed ww made them. I picked up a few dif kinds that are low in sodium and not to many points and I really haven't been disappointed.

you know it's a good workout when even your underware is soaked...

maybe tmi, but man it was a good workout. I wanted to do treadmill intervals so I started with my 5min warm up then went into a 5min run which turned into 10min then that turned into 15min around the 15min mark I was thinking to myself well why not go for 20min I have come this far! It took everything I had to do it but I ran for 20min at 5mph! I was super exhausted after but I'm glad I did it! I headed over to the elliptical for another 20min but kept it light. Tomorrow will be my second workout day on the bride plan. I was pretty sore today so hopefully I'm ok tomorrow.

Today was day 2 on my new ww plan and everything went really well. I noticed that I have a hard time getting in my fruits and veggies and thats something that I am working on, but I don't want it to be all fruits because of all the sugar and carbs in them. I got in all my good health guidelines again today except for healthy oils. What do you use to meet that part? I know olive oil is one of the choices and normally I use my misto with olive oil but not sure if that counts since it's definitely not a teaspoon worth.

Stayed on my points today actually I had one left over and I couldn't eat anymore I was so full at the end of the day. I made a new ww recipe for dinner and it came out pretty good. It was chicken teriyaki with broccoli on brown rice. Have any of you tried that one before?

We are having a halloween party this Saturday and I don't want to mess up with alcohol and stuff so I think my best option is to not have any at all or maybe just a glass of wine. We are not going to be handing out candy this year since it's expensive and we are on a tight budge. So we are going to go over to my moms and hand some out. I am not a big candy person so I am not too worried about being around that. I feel like I have my same mentality that I did at the beginning of ww and it makes things a lot easier. What are you doing to keep on plan with halloween around the corner?

ww day 1

so today was my official restart to ww. i weighed in at a saddening 169.8 and my five percent goal is 161.1 hoping to be there soon!!! I told myself to treat this how I did when I first started ww in december of last year and lost my first 20lbs. im ready to be in maitnece already (who isnt) lol. I hit my 29pts just fine but did not go over. I hit my good health guidlines and got in my activity. I found a challenge on ww for 12weeks. its made for brides preparing for their wedding day but who cares :-) its nice to have a program to follow for the next 12weeks with structure. That will take me into the second week of January if everything goes according to plan, hopefully I am at goal by then!!!! after that my next plan of action is to take on new rules of lifting for women. Even if I am not at goal I hopefully should be fairly close and I think that would be the best thing to do to build up my muscle tone and help keep me in maintenance :-D Tomorrow is just my cardio day so I am planning 30min treadmil intervals and 25min elliptical. My excitment and determination are high like when I first started and I cant wait to see the scale go down!!! I also got a mini notebook to carry with me to write down everything i am eating and what activity I got in. Even though I track online I think keeping a mini notebook with me will help keep me more accountable and in tune with what I am eating and why I am eating things.

It's just gunna be poop anyway....

That is my new go to saying that I tell myself when I see something I want to eat or something is calling my name. If I shouldn't eat it I tell myself it is just going to be poop anyway... makes sense right. It has helped me a lot with making better choices.

Sorry for the absence I just got back from vegas where we went to another wedding... yes you read that right another wedding... that makes 5 for the year and thankfully no more but then of course we come up to the holidays... Last week was a total disaster for me as far as eating and working out goes. I different days that I had to work so that threw off my schedule we didn't have any food in the house since we were going to be gone for the weekend we didn't want to go to the store. Technically we had more then enough things to make if we put some effort behind it but for some reason hubby and I were just off. Then of course the weekend was a disaster. There was booze, booze, booze, fast food, and more booze. Don't get me wrong we had a great time but it was just terrible. When I left the scale was showing me 169 which is high for me. I thought it was because of the weight lifting I had done the previous week but it never went back down. When we got back home I went to get on the scale and the battery was lo so it wouldn't show me a reading. I think god just didn't want to disappoint me ; ) So I tried it the next morning and it worked but showed me 172!!! That number has not been seen by these eyes in a while. I figured it would take me a few days to get the sodium out of my body and regulate everything (if you know what I mean) so I spent the next few days eating as best as I could and drinking a ton of water. This morning I got back on and it showed me 169.4. So making progress! Now just need to get back into working out (going to the gym tonight) and everything should be ok.

I set up my goal for thanksgiving I would like to be at 158 or lower. Completely do able if I just get myself focused and back into it. So I'm heading to the gym tonight! No distractions are planned until thanksgiving and I have ww/hungry girl recipes that I plan to make to defeat temptation. I'm also going to try and not drink anything until then with the exception of a ladies night party I am hosting but they will be hg drink recipes so I know the exact p+ of it!!! We went to the store and bought a lot of food last night and I can't decide what to eat!!! Made some new snack items I will be sharing with you guys once I make a few!

Is it hard for you to get back on track after a bad weekend or vacation?

Rambling....

Some days you feel it and some days you don't. I weighed in on Sunday with a gain of 2.5lbs. I was doing double workouts last week so I don't know if I was retaining water with working the muscles but it was really discouraging. I skipped Friday because I had to work late, then Saturday we went to dinner with friends, which I think may of have affected the weight gain since I hold onto sodium so bad then Sunday we went and had dinner with my husbands dad and his gf. I think I may change my weigh in day again so that I have realistic results since it seems that every Saturday night either friends or family want to get together and do something and that always messes up my Sunday weigh in. At the same time I don't want it to be an excuse to eat whatever on Sat since it would be changed. I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place right now with what to do lol. I was thinking of going back to a Tuesday or Wednesday weigh in. Thoughts??? I don't think I will be at the goal I set for myself by Friday but I haven't gained anything either. so after Vegas this weekend hubby and I are doing a ten pound before thanks giving. Where he wants to gain 10 and I want to lose 10 before thanksgiving that would put me only 10lbs till goal and at 155. Crazy huh!!! Anyone want to join in?

another day the same routine

So everything has been going good with my 2 a days I have been doing 30-45 mins of cardio right after school around 1030ish then heading back again around 730-8ish that's where I will do a 20min interval cardio warm up and then do a weight routine. I found another app through women's health that has a lot of workout routines and I tried one last night and I am pretty sore today. Last night I was having some tightness in my hip and knee and I did some stretching and it felt so good!!! I was worried that I may have injured myself but I may have overdone it a bit so today I skipped my first cardio workout of the day but I am going to go tonight after work to get in some cardio and possibly some weight lifting not 100% sure yet. I am super tired today I think my body wants a break lol. Tomorrow I have a long day at work since I work for att and its iphone preorder day and we are expecting it to be busy so tomorrow I will take a rest day to recoop.

Last night I made salmon in a foil pack and it turned out so amazing and moist!! Normally when we cook salmon it comes out dry and blah but we will be doing this for now on. I have been sticking to my points just fine. Its funny what being kind of broke will do to you. Vegas is a week today and I want to lose another 3lbs 5would be ideal but not realistic. I want it to stay off and not come back.

I signed up at anytime fitness today with an actual membership my two week trial one ran out so I am signed up for the next 11months! I hope that I am for sure at my goal by then lol I am assuming it will happen by the end of the year but you know what they say about people that assume.... lol I was thinking the other day about how I only had 20lbs to go and that I wanted to be in the 150's by the end of the month and it made me kind of nervous to think at that point I will only have 10lbs left to lose. I have been working at this for so long what happens when I get there. It has always seemed so far and distant when in realtiy it could be that way in 3months ; /. do you ever think about what it will actually feel like to hit goal?? does it make you feel nervous???

2 workouts in one day!!!

So I went to the gym this morning and got in my cardio workout! I did 45min on the treadmil at anytime fitness. What I love about this place is that they have monitors for every machine so you can watch tv and stuff, it has a port for a ipod or iphone and they have a lot of different programs to choose from and all you have to do is choose how long you want to be doing the workout for and it changes the resistance and incline as the program progresses. The nice thing also about these machines is that it doesn't try to get your heart rate every 30seconds! I hate when I am trying to do one of the pre made workouts and it wants to check my heart rate all the time especially when I don't use the handles or something. Anyway I know these things are not a 100% accurate but when I was done it said I burned 450 cals!! So if it is anywhere remotely close that will work for me!!! After my work out I went to my moms house and did some cleaning for her so that added into my calorie burn. I came home and sat around catching up on blogs and catching up on keeping up with kardashians. I always use to bad mouth that show and now I love it lol. I guess you shouldn't judge a book by its cover! Since I am doing my "two a day" plan or at least trying to I told myself I would be going to the gym again later in the evening. I ate dinner around 630 and took my pre workout supplements around 730 and headed to the gym at 8. There was only me and one other lady there which was awesome so I did about 30min of interval running on the treadmill then heading to this workout room that I am assuming is where classes are held.

I got an app on my iphone from "prevention" and they have a ton of different workouts you can do depending on what your goal is and what you are trying to work on. So today I did an arm work out and abs. I was there about an hour and half. I probably could of kept going but I didn't want to over do it. It's funny how sometimes it's so hard to get me to the gym but when I get there its hard to get me to go!! I'm going to sign up for sure tomorrow since Thursday is the last day of my free two week membership. It's so nice having the gym so close to home and having hubby less then a few mins away if something were to happen. I am hoping to hit my ww 5% goal by next Friday which would put me at 161.7 just in time for vegas. Going to vegas kind of freaks me out because the next two weeks there are no distractions and nothing that will make me go off plan and if I hit this goal what am I supposed to do when I am up there? eating healthy isn't really an option not drinking isn't really an option any tips???

I forgot to take a pic of dinner but I had chicken, with ff cottage cheese, and steamed zuchinni with a glass of milk so delicious I only went over my pts today by 2 no biggie everything was so delicious and I was full the entire day!!! What did your daily meals consist of??

Why must they get my hopes up!!!

Today was a good day! Yesterday not so much when it came to dinner time. My mom made the most amazing enchiladas and pulled chicken (like pulled pork) sandwhiches... interesting combo I know and of course made brownies for dinner. Now no one is aying that I had to have any of it but of course I did. I got my butt to the gym this morning after school though and did a 5k. I do about a half mile warm up and then run for a mile and try to do more if I can but end up usually walking the next half then running the final part again. I usually do it at 5.2speed and it works out fairly well. I really want to be able to run the entire thing by the end of the month!

I went to Golds today to cancel my membership and they told me I have to mail in a certified letter letting them know I want to cancel. Seems like a crok to me but we will see how that goes. While I was there I asked who would be teaching the 530 zumba and they told me it was the girl that I like! I was super excited and thought to myself well if she is back then I don't need to cancel... Well I show up at 530 and it was the other lady that I don't like so that was pretty much the final straw for me... We did get hubbies rate lowered for the monthly service by almost $10 so that helps make up how much the new gym is going to be costing me!!!

We went grocery shopping today and I got some new breakfast foods. Tomorrow I will take pics of all my eats for you guys!!! Have an amazing night!!

October.... I can't believe you are already here but this is my month!!! Time to be a better blogger, better eater (not that I have been bad but I can be better) and also a better worker outer lol. I can't believe how fast this year is flying. Being in school part time while working part time makes my life so crazy. I am back down to my pre vacation weight which makes me happy but this is my time to get out of the 160's once and for all!! I have only seen the scale show 164 one time since I have been on my weight loss journey and I'm ready to see it again and then see it go. I mentioned before that I was thinking of trying out anytime fitness and I set up a two week trial membership there. I went everyday last week and this week will be starting out my final week. Thursday is my last today. I think I will be switching to there I like it so much. There is never anyone there and sometimes I have the entire gym to myself. I can play my music out loud, use any machine I want with out having to wait and I don't have to worry about what people are thinking when I am using the weights/carido machines. It is pretty much a no stress environment. It is a little bit more then what I am paying at golds (only by $5) and it literally takes me 2mins from my driveway to get to the gym parking lot vs. 15mins to get to Golds and the parking lot is super crazy unless you go at 8pm or later. The only reason I stayed at Golds was because of my zumba class but my zumba teacher is mia still. Tomorrow is the last day I am going to see if she is there and if not I am cancelling then heading to anytime and signing up. Does anyone else workout at anytime fitness? what do you think?

I have been doing farily well with making hungry girl recipes. Last week I surprised my hubby with a three course meal all hungry girl recipes. I made a soup as a starter which was so amazing!!! Then for dinner I made lasagna with eggplant and then I made a chocolate mousse dessert with oreo and we had a side of apple cider. trying to cut out my booze intake. I got really drunk at a party I went to the other day I hadn't ate the whole day and was super hungover on Monday (sloppy I know) alcohol to me now is like blah not in the mood for it.

I'm going to try and go to the gym everyday until vegas and hopefully get back into my two a days. I want to lose 6-8lbs this month and feel its completely doable as long as I stay on track with points and working out of course. What are your goals for October?

It's workout time!!!!

well I have been at the gym every day since Sunday switching back and forth of cardio and weight lifting. I did double workouts today. I want to start doing two a days everyday up until vegas to get down my 10-15lbs. 10would be awesome and I would love 15 of course, but I also want to do this the healthy way and not lose too much too quickly. I got a subscription to the prevention magazine app on my iphone that shows you a bunch of different workout routines and I did the ab/bust the cellulite routine tonight. It wasn't too difficult but we will see how I feel in the morning.

I already made my hungry girl recipe of the week. I actullay have made two of them.
I made her mini taco salads
3pts+ for 2
and I also made her "lord of the onion rings" I forgot to take a pic of them. They came out good if you like onion rings but a little bit on the higher point side if you eat the whole thing.
Tonight we had chicken teriyaki with brown rice and broccoli for 7pts+ it was so delicious!!! I love coming up with random ideas with things we have in the house and things I normally wouldn't think of and they come out so yummy.

I saw on kenlies blog the other day about using the recipe builder for meals that you eat because it factors in the calorie amount for veggies and fruits and actually can change the points+ amount and I have noticed a differnce in the scale this week with following that method. You still count fruits and veggies when eating them by themselves but when making a recipe with them always throw them in. I think she got the info from a ww meeting. It's nice to get tips from people that go to meetings since you don't get as much info as being online.

Tomorrow I'll be doing some cardio in the mid morning then some weight lifting again tomorrow night along with about 15mins on the elliptical. I have the nrolfw book that I am going to start reading and get a plan going so I'm looking forward to that. It's nice to have the fire back and treating this like I did in the beginning and that got me down 25lbs! I only have 25more to go until I hit my end tentative goal and I don't see that being too far away!!

Today will be my first day back to the gym finally!!! I'm going to every day this week alternating cardio and weights except for today and tomorrrow since I doing running on the treadmill tonight and zumba tomorrow. I did fairly well with my points this week.  I only ate off plan twice for dinner. Since both hubby and I were sick we were not in the mood to cook so we ordered a chicken supreme pizza and had some sprite. Then the next night we didn't have any food so we went to the grocery store. He wanted cereal for dinner so he got some captain crunch all berries and I got some sushi. Well the sushi was gross so I had some of the cereal and didn't track it.

This week I'm going to stick to plan 100% and try my best not to use any weeklies and see how much I can lose when I put that together with working out. Hubby and I are on a strict budget since I am working part time so going out to eat isn't really an option. Last night we both felt so lazy since we worked all day and almost went out but he went with cereal again and I had a blt with mac and cheese shirataki so yum!!!!!

I'm going to start trying one new hungry girl recipe a week as well. I love her recipes so much they are so easy to make, and a lot of times I have the ingredients or she uses fairly inexpensive ones. Also each recipe has the points+ amount with them!!! Do any of you have a fave hungry girl recipe??

well I went to my dr yesterday and he said that all of my tests came back normal and that I am pretty much approved to do whatever I want. So that means I'm heading back to the gym!!!! It will be hard at first to get my motivation back since it's been almost a month but I know it will help. Then this morning I wake up with a head cold. A really bad one. So I stayed home from school today to try to rest up and knock this thing out. I have still stuck with my points to make sure I get them all in even though I am not hungry at all. I have watched a few movies and so far it has been pretty relaxing.... I want to add in some strength training thinking of maybe doing nrolfw or maybe something else anyone have any suggestions?

new recipe!!

Only two days left until I get the results from all my heart tests... I really want to go to zumba tomorrow but that's not an option according to my drs orders : ( Today was really good with eating. breakfast had an egg with egg whites scrambled with salsa along with an orange and turkey bacon and a glass of milk. Lunch was a sandwhich on hg's new flatout bread with lunch meat and black beans. For dinner we had mahi mahi with black beans and cottage cheese.I also made an "appetizer" from the hg website. They were 4pts+ for two taquito's here is the recipe



1/4cup fat free cheddar and 1/4 cup salsa mixed


3oz chicken breast shredded, 3tbs onion, 1/8tsp onion powder, 1/8salt, 1/8 cayenne,
mixed
take 4 corn tortillas and warm them up in the micro with wet ppr towels



1tbs of the salsa mix



3tbs of the chicken mix


rolled into these and baked for 15min at 350

They came out so good!!!

I have some wonton wrappers that I am planning on using this week I'll post the recipe if anyone is interested!! Had a great day eating wise and looking forward to tomorrow too!!!
